Amber Lappin

amber lappin photo - resizedAmber has over 25 years of experience in early childhood development, children’s ministry, and parent education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and an M.Ed in Early Childhood Education. Amber is part of the Early Childhood Education faculty at Mt. San Jacinto College, teaches workshops for parents, educators, and volunteers in schools, churches, and at conferences around the country. She is a contracted workshop teacher with Riverside Community College’s Foster & Kinship Care Education program, and does freelance teaching, coaching and consulting as well. She also works as a grant program director for two nationally accredited preschools.

Amber enjoys small town Southern California living with her husband Jason (since 1991) and is getting ready for the newest adventure – empty nesting! They have three amazing grown children- a son who works with the fire department and twin daughters who are heading to college in the fall.  She’s combating the pangs of missing her kiddos by dreaming about her own crafting/writing room, eating fussy food, and sewing outfits for her dog Beesly.  (she’s probably kidding about one of those things)

Amber feels honored to be able to use her education and experience to impact children and their caregivers for Christ’s kingdom. One of her favorite verses is 2 Timothy 2:2 – And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
